Breve Historia del Domingo

From the very beginning of the church, Christians had the habit of meeting the first day of the week to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. This meeting, which convened Jewish and Gentile believers alike, was simple and joyful, and its main activity was to share the bread and wine as a reminder of the triumph of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. Throughout the centuries, however, this habit took different forms and was subject to different theological interpretations that transformed it into the center of discussions and decisions not lacking in conflicts.
