Capellanía Institucional: Nociones básicas de la capellanía

Written in Spanish, this manual gives pastors and lay leaders an overview of the ministry of the chaplain. In the midst of the alteration of lifestyles, loss of faith in God and in humanity, social problems have increased and created greater existential anguish in captive humanity. It is imminent to have trained personnel to guide and serve as a motivating element to the human being in order to live fruitful and reconciled lives with God, with himself and with humanity. As a result, every day a great number of institutions create conscience of the need to have qualified personnel in their work teams that can provide spiritual and moral support to the people under their care. In an environment with such spiritual need the figure of the chaplain is important as part of the therapeutic and counseling team.

Escrito en español, este manual les da a los pastores y líderes laicos una visión general del ministerio del capellán. En medio de la alteración de los estilos de vida, la pérdida de la fe en Dios y en la humanidad, los problemas sociales se han incrementado y han creado una mayor angustia existencial en la humanidad cautiva. Es inminente tener personal capacitado para guiar y servir como un elemento motivador para el ser humano a fin de vivir vidas fructíferas y reconciliadas con Dios, consigo mismo y con la humanidad. Como resultado, cada día un gran número de instituciones crea conciencia de la necesidad de contar con personal calificado en sus equipos de trabajo que pueda brindar apoyo espiritual y moral a las personas bajo su cuidado. En un entorno con tal necesidad espiritual, la figura del capellán es importante como parte del equipo terapéutico y de asesoramiento.
